Section 10
Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee
The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To conduct suitable training programs for the employees of the Government of Nepal and institutions.
(b) To organize meetings and seminars and conferences from time to time about administrative problems and their solutions.
(c) Conducting programs related to research, consulting services and information services.
(d) Liaise with training institutes and international organizations of other countries to help them in their training work.
(e) To give opinion and advice to the Government of Nepal through the Council to formulate a policy related to training at the national level.
(f) Formulating policies related to training and research programs of the institute.
(g) Through the Council, to give necessary opinion and advice to the Government of Nepal to bring coordination between training programs related to various fields of the Government of Nepal and institutions.
(h) Formulating the long-term plan of the institution.
(i) To prepare the annual program and budget of the institution.
(j) To create the posts of necessary employees for the establishment and to appoint them.
(k) Evaluation of training programs.
(l) Acting as a communication channel between Nepal government and international organizations in the field of training.
(d) Arrange for periodic exchange of services of experienced people in various fields to make the training programmatic and practical.
(d) To take the approval of the Council in case of sale of assets exceeding the specified amount of the establishment. h) To do other necessary work related to training under the laws, rules or regulations
